Best West Engineers Ltd. subscribes to the EGBC’s Code of Ethics and is fully certified to perform Building Envelope and Structural Engineering Services in British Columbia.
Our Consulting Services Include
• Building envelope design and details.

Structural design and analysis of timber, steel and concrete structures.

Substructure designs such as railings (aluminum, glass and steel), retaining walls, exterior steps and decks.

Seismic analysis and design of new projects.

Seismic Strengthening of existing buildings and retrofit.

Design of arch-supported structures.

Construction management.

Providing certified structural drawings and required documents and schedules (A, B, and CB) for building permit. Field reviews and inspections during the construction stage according to the local Building Code and City Bylaws.

Renovations, extensions, and tenant improvements often require an initial site visit and field review to assess the feasibility of specific engineering services. In such cases, we would need to conduct an on-site inspection. For projects located within a 15-kilometer radius of our office, there is a minimum nonrefundable fee of $250.00 (excluding GST) for the first visit and project quote. If the client chooses to proceed with our initial consultation and accepts the project quote, this payment will be applied towards their first site visit. However, if the client decides not to move forward with our services, they cannot request a refund for the minimum fee paid.
